    Deadly Dangers of Gun-Free Zones

You do know there are liberal 2A supporters and shooters, right? Just like there are Republican and even conservative folks that are anti-2A? "Libtards" does nothing to embrace the entire community of 2A supporters. Political parties are blends of ideologies.

Help with Mod 3 Optic install

Let's reset. Are you talking about plate to gun, or optic to plate? Plate to gun - use the screws that came with the cover. 407k to plate: The M4x0.7 screws that came with the 407K should work. Ideally you want 8 or 9mm length, I think. Test them by mounting the optic to the plate OFF the...

    Never buy, always sell?

The guns I shoot regularly are definitely cared for differently than these I don't shoot as often. Between GSSF, USPSA and Steel Challenge, quite a few get worked through, but the Staccato P and the Echelon are the two most used.

    Never buy, always sell?

I do like the 1-3rd gen semi auto line from S&W, yes. Now I'm slowly working through and "upgrading" to guns in better condition, with the older ones going to auction to offset the cost. I've got a couple that are like baseball cards - "misprints" - where it says it's one thing but is an...

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

I like SIG optics, but I'm not willing to pay over the cost of Trijicon options to get them. Most of the time, I'm not even willing to pay Trijicon prices, depending on the use case. If it has to be enclosed, the 509T is usually about my top-end, as the Trijicon RCR seems too bulky. That, and...

    Never buy, always sell?

I have a decent collection of S&W third-gen semi autos and a group of M&P variants. Two away from a "family complete" collection of 1 from each model/frame size in 1st-3rd gen, and several rarer PC pistols.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

We're in the same boat - I have two that if they're not delivered today, I'll have a decent delay due to some travel coming up.

    Never buy, always sell?

@Bear103 Yeah, I'm definitely more focused on things I shoot. @Musashi About a third of my collection is "collector" stuff generally, and about 6-8 are those "keep under glass" type pieces (1934 Hi-Power, etc).

Springfield TRP won't close slide with 8 rounds

Or use a trusted gunsmith. Or let SA fix the problem. There's a lot in between "learn to file on 1911 parts" and "buy a Glock."

    Never buy, always sell?

After living the mantra of "never sell, always buy," I'm finding that a few things I bought for one purpose have turned out to not get used. Instead of them sitting in the safe, they're headed to auction with Locust Fork on Gunbroker. I did quite a bit of research and they came highly rated -...

I've got two cases of the Ranger 165 in my garage. My S&W semi loves it.

If it comes back through Austin, I'll drive to UPS to grab it for you and even take it to the range to test it for you first. :)
