I couldn’t agree more. My EDC is a Colt .45 that served someone extremely well in the Pacific in the 1940’s. To this day I know if I should ever need it it’s not going pew pew but boom boom. Just the mere presence of a 1911 is enough to convince someone it’s a bad idea to push their agenda anymore
