Called Springfield and it is a manual safety. And, they said it is VERY difficult to get the COG reset in the handle. So I am sending it back to them to put it back together. Luckily it will be a no charge but I will be without it for 3+ weeks.

Has anyone seen an Echelon with these tabs on the COG? I have a Echelon 4.0C and it does not have these. I tried to remove the COG for a deep cleaning and found this. I was able to remove the COG but now can't get it to seat. No where on the Springfield site and other site can I find an Echelon...
