C5L fits like a glove on the Hellcat..used the bar magnet because I started with magnetic tape and it wasn't strong enough even when touching..ordered the 60mmx 10mm rare earth to make certain the light and laser would go off..bit of an overkill, but it's not going to snag..

Having seen it done on a couple of videos, I have attached (epoxy) a bar magnet to the back side of my FSTactical holster and now it works just like a TacLoc..the C5L comes on when removed from the holster and shuts off when replaced..gave up waiting for Viridian to offer a TacLoc for the Hellcat..

Received the FSTactical holster today..very happy..

Pretty sure that's going to be a no..at least the TacLoc holster designed for an XDs sent to a friend when she ordered her C5L will not work for the Hellcat with the same laser light..sold my XDs to a son-in-law so I can't definitely tell you..

Let me run the Viridian for awhile..if it's what I think it will be I will get back with you..

Received the C5L today and got it installed and zeroed to the top of the front sight..so far it looks like a winner..may have a Shield red dot for sale..

Has anyone equipped your Hellcat with the Viridian C5L laser light? I have the Shield red dot, but I'm thinking of going a different way..not pulling the trigger (pun intended) until I find a good holster that will accept it..any help appreciated..

I went through my holster storage box and found an old Fist holster I had made for the S&W CS40 I carried at work (I'm retired)..fits like it was designed for it, including the optic..trigger is completely covered & enough tension to shake while upside down, but easy to draw and reholster..not...
