Thanks for your quick response. The range that I use allows rifles, shotguns, etc., so I'm beginning to think that my quest for relatively inexpensive earbuds that will do the trick. is both naive and futile. I'll keep trying, but it looks like my earmuffs are here to stay. Thanks, again. ~ JB
