Nice knives, but for me they would seem to be too close in size and use to be considered a working pair. I would personally go with a 3 to 5 inch small knife for small tasks and meat processing and food prep, and a 7 to 10 inch larger chopper for camp tasks.
But that's just me. Something along this type of line. Maybe smaller for the chopping blade in some cases.

There is no Ultimate survival knife pair, since there are a variety of blades that fit into the survival knife/blade role, depending on various tasks.
I don't have either of the articles blades, but the various Kephart clones are fine candidates.
I looked at the PR4 but some have stated they don't care for the grip scales.
