Hello all, here is today's article posted on TheArmoryLife.com. It is titled “America’s Unknown Gunner Aces of World War II” and can be found at https://www.thearmorylife.com/americas-unknown-gunner-aces-of-world-war-ii/.

Pyote Air Force Base (aka Rattlesnake Bomber Base) in Texas was another location where bomber crews were trained. A friend of mine was doing safety supervision on an oilfield location near Pyote, TX last year. He sent me photos of scattered .50 caliber hulls. He said they were scattered throughout the area. I'd hazard a guess that gunnery training was conducted there also.
