147 grain 9mm questions

Well, I think we can agree to use current data. Because Columbia PD here in my home town adopted the 147 Grain back in the 90's and to nobody's surprise that understood ballistics it was as big a failure here as anywhere. But back then was a long time ago...the 147 grain 9 mm has benefited from bullet tech as much as the other rounds. I lean towards heavy bullets as stoppers. So the current 147 grain nines have my attention after I discounted them back in the day as a "modern 38 Special Round Nose". One of the worst bullets ever given to a lawman to defend himself. Time marches on...sometimes my own eyes from being associated with the panel back then need an update! (Hint: can't go wrong with Gold Dots)
