Well, a Balisong is what is commonly referred to as a butterfly knife. Which this isn't. Very strange.

I've had the knife for many years, at least 20+. Can't remember where I purchased it from.

And yours is partially serrated. Someone in the comments says his is serrated. Also the Balisong Butterfly is a sticker. It is vintage and apparently valuable. ATS34 is pretty good steel apparently, though I have to admit I never heard of it until now. It's Japanese steel.
