Hi,
Mr. Abraham is certainly enamored with the Echelon. I really like my 4.5F Comp too.
Maybe I'm picking nits but I tend to separate 'recoil' from 'muzzle flip'. I consider recoil to be the pressure against your palm, wrist, and arm, parallel to the ground when fired. Muzzle flip is the motion of the barrel in a upward direction when fired. The 'compensator' port at the end of the barrel does help to lessen muzzle flip but I didn't notice any appreciable recoil reduction. Most 9mm loads don't have a whole lot of recoil anyway. I realize this is a subjective observation.
I appreciate Mr. Abraham's enthusiasm and expertise. After watching his video I have decided to install the Veridian optic that came bundled. I think it looks great. These old eyes haven't gotten used to the U-notch rear sight, but that's just me. I know some love the U-notch. This was a good side-by-side comparison that should answer a lot of questions potential buyers might have. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your indulgence,
BassCliff
