.300 Blackout Vs .300 Whisper: Is There A Difference?

Both kick out .30-caliber bullets, are pleasant shooters and can be kept quiet as a church mouse, so is there really any difference between the .300 Blackout and its predecessor the .300 Whisper?

With the 300 Whisper, I was one of JD’s, I guess you could say tester with another good friend of mine who was one of JD’s best friends, it was an awesome cartridge and experience. It was the first time I got to handle and shoot a fully auto AR rifle, with the suppressor on, all you could hear was the bolt slamming, nothing else.
