Bear OPS AC-300: Is Auto Right For You?

Is a spring assisted opening knife allowed where autos aren't? I carry a few different ones that I really like.

Since 2012 switchblades, autos and spring assisted knives with a blade under 4" have been legal to carry in my state. I have several cheap ( $50-$75) autos and OTF that I carry around sometimes. More often than not I'm at work and I carry a beat to hell S&W locker that was probably $20 new. I use it for chiseling, screwdriving and if I use the serrated part I can actually cut some stuff.
