A glutton for punishment

It was hot and another big muzzle brake to contend with. I took my shirt off and mighta shot naked if'n i wasn't afraid of gettin a splinter in my butt. This gun definitely needed to break the barrel in. it shot all over the place for a bit. Now compared to the ruger it' has more recoil and the bolt is ten times harder to work. cheek piece is not as comfortable either. First pic is at 50 yards to get it on paper then i moved it back to 130 yards. it was holding them pretty tight til i decided to start jacking the bolt and firing in a hurry.

By the time i broke this thing out i was soaked. put the target at 100 yards and when it started hitting black i dumped two mags. pretty fast too. i was out of water and ready to go home. lol

Nope, i have a lot of native American in me. i get really dark in the summer. i don't burn much. i will get a little red the first time but then the sun just makes me darker.

Spanish, Scottish and Irish I too get a little red then get very dark. I'm mistaken for Mexican or mixed black/white since I have curly hair.

Roofers coming today to tear off old and put on new roof. We didn't need a new roof yet but we have to do this to get our home insurance rate down. The new roof will cut our insurance rate in HALF. We are being robbed by insurance companies, but damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Another big difference in the savage and Ruger is the Ruger will use both the Magpul and AICS mags. The savage is AICS only and the Amend 2 mags will hold 12 rounds and the others 10. magpuls go all the way to 25.

But a huge difference between the two is price, The Ruger is almost twice as much. and the Ruger weighs a lot more. barrel is a lot heavier.

Thanks for sharing your fun. Nice targets. You must've been a sniper in a previous life. Good job. I can't even see a target at 100 yards. What scope(s) are you using?

I might get to take a training session outside soon. I'm trying to arrange my schedule. I'll let you know.
