A Reappraisal of the Revolver Tactical Reload

Good article from the Revolver Guy on tactical reloads for the revolver

I was a strip carry but the dumps were part of the uniform and they were required to have rounds so I followed the requirements. I still use the speed strips for my 45 long colt. Speed strips worked for me because different revolvers can require a different speed loaders for 2 revolvers of same caliber because of a clearance factor and I found that out at the range long ago

I signed up for one of Bruce’s blocks at Revolverfest next weekend. Along with Wayne Dobbs. Dobbs is an incredible instructor.

Good stuff

For those that pocket carry a J Frame, does anyone carry one in each front pocket? The famous "New York Reload" since NYPD officers figured out it was faster to draw a second gun than reload the first.

Double shoulder rigs are comfortable. Very balanced. With seatbelts fouling my usual inside the waistband rig, my driving rig back in the day was for a pair of Smith and Wesson 65 .357 Magnums. Since I travel by car now that I am retired, this still gets dusted off sometimes and pressed into service.
