Active Shooter at U of Arkansas in Fayetteville

My daughter reported a short while ago that campus was locked down.
Reports of an Active ahooter on campus, but not confirmed
Multiple reports of shots fired, but news - police cant confirm.
Daughter is safe . She was in between classes and at her apartment.
God bless those affected

I hope that the perps involved in all these incidents are identified, arrested, and given significant, highly publicized prison sentences. Hopefully, the FBI will join the local, state, and campus LEO's to bring those responsible to justice.

Someone wanting to spread fear. I think anybody reporting something like this falsely should face domestic terrorism charges, because That IS what it is. So glad your daughter and the other folks there are ok. Can’t imagine the stress they (and you) were under.

I'm sure there will be lots of these, much like fire alarms when I'm went to high school, until they stopped letting students leave for the day and made them stand outside in the weather.

Sounds like her being armed would put the fear in them! Glad it's all good now! Having a great distance between you and her makes it tough in times like that.......as me how I know! So far all the classes my daughter has is in daylight hours and close to her dorm. I'm not that crazy about the layout of the campus, but will have to deal with it. Her oldest brother might be down there next semester for grad school hopefully so she'll have at least 1 family member close if needed.
