Hi,

In my quiet neighborhood was a shooting last weekend. Someone was driving around in a neighboring town randomly shooting at houses. Police found them, chased them into my town until they crashed, then the driver started shooting at police. The perp suffered a gunshot wound, ending the incident, was arrested and taken to the hospital. No police officers were struck. The shootout was about a mile away from my house.

In @NMEDGE's incident, do you know if the firearm was properly and securely stored? I know laws are different everywhere. I was just wondering if the "adults" would be in trouble for improper storage.

Let's be careful out there.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Haven't heard anything but if it wasn't properly stored in New Mexico parents can be charged. I do think that one of the parents did call reporting it missing. At least they did that.
