Another Successful Adoption

I only have 3 revolvers in my collection (all stainless) but today after work I stopped at the LGS and saw this. A brand new Smith &Wesson 586 4 inch 357 Magnum. I always wanted a "blued" model and after some research, I discovered that this model is a true workhorse and will withstand years of heavy use. The dealer also gave me a hat, coffee tumbler and a cool little range bag. Can never have enough range bags now can we ?

The L frame is a perfect compromise for the .357 Mag cartridge; Ruger tried to copy it with the GP100, but couldn’t get it right.

That pistol will give you a lifetime of service if you do your part…

Now go shoot the snot out of it.

Add:

Get a Rustprufe cloth & oil to wipe it down after a session.

In fact, use it on all your firearms…but it really does well on protecting bluing.

I own something like 8 or 9 .357s now; I don't own an L-frame Smith and never have, but I consider the 4" 586/686 to be the finest all-around .357s ever made. Congratulations on your new addition.
