Anyone got any ideas?

Thank you for being here, I could use your help.

I've exhausted my knowledge, and youtube's knowledge, to try to figure this out but I'm still having issues.

The extractor on my Mosin 91/30's bolt seems to be stuck and I'm having trouble taking it off. I've used a brass punch and hammer to knock it out as instructed, but it didn't budge. I used mouse milk and let it sit for 30 seconds or so and tried again. Nothing. I then reapplied a little more mouse milk and let it sit for an hour. You guessed it...nothing. Now I'm here.

I've thought about possibly using a blow torch to heat it up in a vise, maybe that would loosen it, but I'm not sure. I'm just trying not to have to break it, although Mosin extractors are pretty easy to find, so if it happens, it happens. Just not ideal, obviously.

Please post your thoughts below.

EDIT: I've added pictures of what I'm looking at. It's a little bent, so I'll probably have to replace soon anyways, but either way, I need to be able to get the old one off.

It needs to be driven backwards. You'll pretty much destroy it getting it off. gunpartscorp.com has replacements for a reasonable price.
Yeah, that's the issue, I can't get it to move backwards at all. My next thought is to just bend the extractor in half and use the punch/hammer to drive the thicker half of the extractor out the back of the bolt head, but I was trying to see if there was another way. Much appreciated on the link. Numrich always coming in clutch.

There is a "tab" that slides up into a notch at the bottom. I'd just be careful to not damage the bolt head but I think you're on the right track. When your current extractor was installed, it was probably forced into position to begin with.
