AR15 Spare parts? What do you recommend?

what i buy some label it "in the middle", but the parts just keep working! i won't list what i'm NOT a fan of, i'll only list what i buy or had trouble with. i've been building ar's (both of 15's and 10's) for 10 years, so some manufacturers escape my mind.

aero precision for any ar15 or 10 has been very good
faxon is hit and miss
cmc is a good low dollar trigger brand (i have several that hasn't failed)
timney, elfman, trigger-tech for cassette type (don't buy much individual types) triggers
barrels........McGowen, x-cal, aero precision, criterion, bsf, proof research and a few other i don't recall (i have several brands)
gas blocks..........slr, odin, aero precision and 1 other i can't recall at this time.
bcg's are all on the upper side of high dollar although many have been bought on sale.
mags......the only mags i've had any trouble with the promag (mainly with pistols, but a few in ar's)
receivers (upper and lower) from $29-350 have all been good including poly type until last week.....1 ear on the pivot pin (lower) broke. it lasted 10 years.

not sure if you're here to gather info or actually stay as many new peeps have been trolling!

For spare parts, most here have enough to build 3 AR's lol but you need a complete lower build kit. no lower just the springs and stuff that fit in it. you also will want to get a kit some called the oops kit. i bought three recently from AT3 tactical called the FU bag. it has all the small springs and detents if you should lose one. These parts are not expensive and most likely be the ones you will replace if ever.

If you never take your gun apart or never modify it you probably will never need them. also a spare BCG and those you can get from 50 bucks on up. most people will never shoot enough rounds to need a barrel replacement.

Pretty much everything. I have a few lower parts kits. Not bargain stuff like Stoner or some off brand. Aero is good. Extra roll pins for everything. Extractors and ejectors. Extractor and ejector springs and inserts and buffer springs from Sprinco. Buffer weights and rubber plugs. BCGs. Triggers and related parts. Spring kits and pin kits. Charging handles.
Anything you prefer upgraded over mil spec like bolt releases, selectors and mag catches.

Pretty much everything. 😊

We all know that parts fail over time and usually when you don't need them to!. What's everyone's solution for this? I was thinking about getting just a middle of the road parts kit to have on hand. Overkill or is there a better way to do it?
Lower parts build kit for when you go to replace a grip or trigger, etc and things go flying into the black hole in every household. 🙂

I hope to stay! Honestly, I joined after finding the forum by accident, but noticed its pretty streamlined and not a bunch of ads and clutter!

My AR is used (ATI Maxx Hybrid, but it looks brand new), but I haven't had a chance to check it in detail, But Ill be replacing/upgrading parts as I go. New CH on the way as the one that's on the rifle feels a little flimsy. Updated part will be a Strike Force TBone.

i have a few of their poly lowers......lasted 10 years before 1 ear on the pivot pin broke.........plenty of people on here with good info across many firearm brands...........not many of us reload, but seems like you don't?..................welcome from the Texas panhandle area and sometimes known as west Texas.

I used to reload....got out of it years ago. **IF** I were to find a deal on a used turret press and some dies, I may start up again
