I'm thinking the drive behind increased sales had more to do with the numerous cities being under-seige by those outstanding "citizens" who favor wearing an all-black ensemble, and armed with homemade shields, bicycle locks, chains, molotov cocktails, etc. Just a thought.

Pertaining to this article and very high record gun sales?
In my opinion and likely quite a few others? The gun and ammo sales aren't only a precaution towards societies upheavals, people are also trying to send a strong message to some not to violate our citizens rights as well. But, am thinking some governmental leaders may be as blind as they are lopsided in their self righteous views in their thinking to peoples rights?

The thing is, no matter how many laws there are or aren't, none of them are ever going to bring back any of the people who were killed by guns, cars, planes or whatever, are they? Some laws basically kick someone in the stomach after they've lost a loved one for whatever reason. Those people who lost a loved one need compassion not a jail cell. They likely have and will suffer enough for the rest of their lives w/o some self righteous twit making their lives more miserable than they already are.

If law makers actually want good results for gun safety or gun control there'd be gun safety classes in every school room? If those classes silently dwindled away where they once existed, what's their real concern? It isn't really gun safety is it?

Governor Flintstone and the illinois black caucus will do anything to stop lawful gun owners all the while chicago is a war zone.
