Doing a happy dance, yeahhhhh. I was going thru an old bin of hunting gear and found a bag and a half of my old favorite gun cleaning patches from Kmart. They had one of the best sporting goods departments ever.

I cleaned everything from .22s to .58 caliber flinters and just about every common shotgun guage with these things.

No idea why the pic is sideways but no matter how it spin it it won't show right side up.

My mother worked at Kmart for close to 20 years. They tried to go upscale more like Sears than Walmart, before Walmart, after they were bought out. Thry had everything in sporting goods, including a brand of wool long johns that was the best i ever had. Still have some.

We always joked Jacqueline Smith and Martha Stewart killed Kmart.

I have to agree Kmart near me had the best firearm and fishing supplies, too bad gun grabbing Rosie Odonnel forced them to stop selling firearms and ammunition.
 
I remember fondly when they would say, attention shoppers we have a blue light special in the sporting.. , you never even heard the rest. Guys all over the store left their kids in the cart mid aisle while waiting for thier wife or girl friend in the changing room and did that speed walk thing as fast a they could go. They knew they were in for something good .
