Well, according to several well respected polls more people than ever agree with the people here.

Why someone would come to a gun forum and attempt to propagate anti-gun BS is beyond me.

While there are probably 10 republicans that I like be the 2 or 3 Dems my issue is they are in it together. Both sides. While I’m glad when the Dems control the WH the House and the Senate they don’t change everything when the Republicans own all they they change nothing that they say they want to or what they run on.

That said while they do all that they play their masses (us) against each other.

To the point there is no central thinking or even robust debate just regurgitating talking points of whatever party you are in line with!

It's amazing how little it takes to buy a politician. The founding fathers would be shocked with who is in power. Dems seem to move in lockstep while Reps seem to be all over the board.

Continued reporting of mass shootings and gun crimes in general will result in building pressure for gun control. It is in all our best interests to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and crazies, the crux is how you go about it. While I believe the only effective way to do that is to lock violent criminals up and throw away the key, the liberal approach is to lock up the evil guns. The reality is that if we outlawed all guns tomorrow, only outlaws would have guns and we would be worse off. Parroting the language of the 2A alone is not enough. The pressure point for 2A advocates to focus on is to implement and/or enforce laws that keep wiolent criminals out of circulation.
