Carrying while fat (how do you do this comfortably?!)

I intend to lose weight, but how do y’all carry with a muffin top? I’m quite uncomfortable carrying, even with a quality holster, as the leather and grip rub against my skin and press in deep. Maybe over the winter I can lose some weight and for the meantime carry a revolver in a shoulder holster?

My OWB holsters have the padded backing flex piece.
Also, I went to a .380 in the pocket of cargo pants or my hiking pants.
I’m in the same boat. Was a size 29 jean when I got married. Yeah, thats not happening again 😞

I have some covid weight that I am having trouble losing, so I use a Blackhawk tuckable with my S&W Model 36 it stays pretty close to my beltline.
If I take the belt clip off it can double as a pocket holster, if your pockets are wide enough.

I exclusively carry IWB for my Glock 48 MOS. OWB seems to print too much for me. Used to carry small of back, which is more comfortable. If I lost 20 lbs, I would definitely be more comfortable.

Always liked a revolver in a shoulder holster,in fact that's what I used for my 41 mags both summer and winter.

I have the same issue. I carry OWB with a medium sized semi-auto. I wear a tucked in t-shirt to prevent the direct contact with an untucked Carhartt to conceal. It took a few holsters to find the one that positioned the pistol in a comfortable spot.

I’m no magazine model but a 6’ 300 pound warehouse troll 🧌. I carry mine at the 0300 with slight bigger jeans and a 2X shirt. I went from C&G holsters to Falco hybrid holsters for my EDC which are usually compact and a good gun belt (thanks to Hanks belts). Other than that I don’t really print to much or draw attention to that I’m carrying

I’m thinking I need that or men’s shapewear, lol. Dammit, I’ve created a new market, men’s concealed carry shapewear!

I’m 5’9” and about 195-197 lbs. I’m using a Vedder ComfortTuck IWB. It would definitely be a lot more comfortable at 170 lbs.
