Columbus Ohio is trying to go around the states preemption law to impose their gun control agenda, this will not last long if they try doing it. This is what happens when the current administration in DC think they can just do want they want and bypass congress which this kind of actions lead cities to think they can do the same to bypass a states law

The irony is the city sits in the middle of conservative gun and hunting country. Being the state capitol they are too big for their britches. When you don't have the wherewithal or courage to deal with criminals, legislate inanimate objects to give the appearance you are "doing something".
