In response to recent inquiries to CZ-USA, Colt Canada is not and will not be involved in the Canadian Government firearms buy-back program from Canadian citizens. Their activities in Canada remain focused on serving military and law enforcement customers.
I honestly don’t know how to react to this one but kinda smelling a little fishy.

IMO (and only IMO) I think there would be enough “right to bear arms” type of staff in either of those companies that if it was actually happening, there would be a lot more information out there.
It is in Canada. They are still subjects of that little island we told to go pound sand 2 times.

I can't remember where I read it, but the RCMP and the OPP, as well as many other regional police agencies in Canada, have collectively told Ottawa to pound sand, that they will not be involved in the violation of the rights of Canadians who own firearms. I read this while I was on vacation, it was a Canadian news source. I wish I'd have copied a link.

One mistake is going on YouTube listing to those idiots about gun issues, no sense in getting mad at the manufacturer, doesn’t do yourself any good, there going to do what they want no matter what we think, I got perturbed at Glock for in my opinion selling out, S&W did the same and I’m sure others will follow in the future.

I don’t think the Glock thing will go away.
As for Canada and the gun bans usually creep into the states. Personally I’m more worried about the political left (yes I live in Illinois that gets run by Chicago) that tells us what to buy.

Each manufacturer has had its own legal issues. I know a few people that won’t buy SA because of what they did with Illinois.
Yes I’ll admit I don’t have skin in the game at a corporate level but sick and tired of us peasants having to pay for it somehow.
Oh I know I was just poking some humor.
I have a couple Glocks but what they decide as to scrub models and introduce new isn’t any of my buisness if the new model works I might get one I’m just to the point I like good revolvers some SA 1911’s and my HK
But seeing how many folks have invested their ego into a gun brand has been pretty funny .to me anyway!

Sorry if i kinda exploded a little. I honestly look at Glock as tool (like a vehicle) and not something that I would soulfully consider every time. Those Glock fanboy days are like nails on a chalkboard (yes I have a G23.5 but my CZ and M&Ps work as well)

The first one sounds familiar. I distinctly remember the RCMP being mentioned along with the OPP (the largest regional agencies although OPP is provincial and the RCMP is fed, but they police regionally as well). They tried a gun registration program back in the late 80s/early 90s which bombed badly. Cost the fed millions for nothing.either one of these..??
