Well I went to therapy today and boy it was bustling with people and didn’t know it was a group session. I decided to bring both my CZ’s today.
Yes I only have 2 at the moment because I’m still considered new since I started about 3 years ago. As I’m learning with the Nocturne before therapy today it does take the P10C magazines but the P10C doesn’t take the nocturne magazines (it is the baseplate set up).
The first target I decided to do a side by side of both CZ’s.
Kinda had to get into a grove in the group session and remember the irons along with grip (I been on an XDm kick lately). Otherwise therapy got better.
My 2 target was introduced.
Still a little off but I have shot a lot worse before. This is where my alignment was been realized.
The 3 target is where therapy struck home.
I felt at one with the Nocturne at this moment even I had 1 magazine that didn’t like to release the freedom seed during therapy.
During therapy I was shooting Winchester 124 grain nato (I honestly expected it to be dirty and unreliable but worked the opposite), Aguila 124 grain, and Freedom munitions 124 grain 9mm. I did wear my “willing to work for ammo” shirt to therapy today. Otherwise a productive therapy session.
My final thoughts
on the CZ P09C Nocturne is this — it’s a really great hammer fired firearm and definitely different than its slightly older counterpart the P10C. I was shooting with a smile while in single action mode saying “I love this trigger”. Yes I’m used to the trigger safety of the P10C (and others). Only problem I had was 1 magazine holding onto the last round and it’s not major enough for me since I dealt with a lot worse. The sights were dead
on and recoil was very minimal to what I’m used too.
So if anyone ever thinks I’ll get rid of this beast then they will have to wait till I’m 6’ under. By then I’ll have the CZ P09F nocturne.
