I can’t recall the last time I was as excited about a compact handgun as I was when the CZ Shadow 2 Compact was introduced. I’ve begun to spend some quality time with it and I’m even more excited about it now than I was at first.

I got to check out two full-sized CZ Shadow 2s last week, one being a custom shop version.

The standard one had an excellent DA/SA pulls, but the custom shop version had both trigger pulls that reminded me of a Colt Python. Of course, the custom shop version was $600 more.

I’ve got a Shadow 2-it is one Sweet shooter. I bought the Kadet kit and it makes it an incredible .22 target pistol as well. I love 1911’s, but the CZ’s mighty sweet.
