I can say for a fact that about half of what was written is bull! The "table turned over" is partially false due to the lack of info about the table. Here's what I've done by accident. 1.5" hardwood benchtop vs 44mag 240gr jhp..............winner was the benchtop! 44mag vs car doors (yes, plural).....240gr jhp went thru both doors (Subaru). FMJ's (common 9mm, 45acp and m193) ammo WILL give penetrate and possible pass thru (depending on thickness and material used). Sheetrock could change direction depending on velocity and energy of the bullet (like how bc's can help or hinder long range shots). As far as exiting thru brick with most common used cartridges...........NO. Even rocks will pass thru glass with a lot less energy. 1 thing does hold true, hp's are going to be the better choice. Can't wait for the perfect shot or situation for the ammo you selected.

Most entry teams got away from 9mm SMG because the common 9mm rounds penetrated more walls than 55 grain FMJ 5.56. Was on a training exercise with ST Louis and Springfield IL FBI SWAT in 2009 and they dumped their MP5’s and ran M4’s with 55 gr 5.56 then but now run 64 grain JHP which opens up better but doesn’t penetrate like the 62 gr green tip.

Bodies stop most common handgun bullets and the 55 gr FMG and 64 JHp 5.56mm more times than not, The biggest issue inside the home is when the homeowner misses all together those are the rounds that goes through walls!
