To be honest, I have never shot one of the piston rifles, mine were always the DI rifles.

I think they have their place, depending on your use for it and how you will run it and even if your job calls for it, not saying they make you run piston over D.I but if you were to run a suppressor or run it hard or select fire or not clean it as often, ect. then piston may be the route to go. I don’t think one is just head and shoulders over the other. My buddy converted his piston to D.I for some reason????
