DOJ's 2nd Amendment division sues USVI

The newly formed division has filed it's first lawsuit. The civil rights violations they have listed barely strike the surface of the things actually going on there in regards to gun rights. I have a couple of friends there who fly here to shoot because of it.

LA is being sued already. NY hopefully is sued next though. Priority one should be FOIDs, that is the most unconstitutional scheme to exist. A permission slip from the government is the greatest threat and violation of the second amendment.

Your FOID ain't crap constitutionally, at least you can obtain one. Try giving up your 4th amendment rights and allowing warrantless home searches just because you applied for a weapons permit. Or having to attach a safe to the structure of your home before you are even allowed to own a firearm. Or paying the application fee, and then being denied repeatedly for reasons that aren't even laws or requirements, having to pay the $150 application fee each time and wait all over again. Wait time? Totally at the discretion of the police department. Non-resident? - Nope. Gotta have a USVI driver's license according to the PD, but that requirement isn't in the law books either.
