Door kicker fires airsoft gun into home in my old neighborhood

Some good ‘ol’ boy on the other side and he’ll never kick anything again. Stupid. As a society we’re getting dumber by the generation. Don’t believe it? Ponder this. Fifty years ago the owners manual in your new VW told you how to adjust the valves—Today it tells you not to drink the battery acid😏. Think about it. All those warning labels on everything you buy-they are there because some more on actually did what they’re warning you not to do.

How stupid do you have to be to think this crap is “fun”, or even “safe”. I am a very peaceful man, who’ll go WAY out of my way to avoid a confrontation. That said, ANYbody who kicks in a door to my house will ar best be on the receiving end of a .45 and at worst, a 12 bore. I figure anyone brazen enough to pull this crap is definitely up to no good, and I have no intention of waiting to see who or what is in their hand. Play stupid games you win stupid prizes.
 
I had a dimwit on a metro Phoenix freeway behind my unmarked car waving what appeared to be an UZI to get cars to move out of his way. He did it to me and I moved over one lane then fell back behind him at 75mph. I was on light duty from a previous OIS and wasn't supposed to do enforcement in my unmarked.
My dispatcher tried three agencies along the freeway to make a felony stop, no one was available. We had gone four miles when the dimwit must have sensed I was following him and he exited the freeway into a residential neighborhood. I carried an 870 in a scabbard mounted at the front of my seat. The dimwit abruptly stopped in the middle of the residential street and started to come out with the UZI pointed in my direction. I got out quicker, racked a round announcing my agency and put pressure on the trigger.
Dimwit dropped the UZI just in time. I heard the distinctive sound of plastic striking the roadway. Then he pissed and crapped himself. He had painted the orange tip of an airsoft UZI black. Several PD units finally arrived to take disposition.

A colleague killed a dimwit who pointed a black 1911 style BB gun at him in a dimly lit mobile home.

Take off the warning labels and let Natural selection run it's course.
 
First, let me say that that was a phenomenally stupid thing for those kids to do.

That said, this is going to be an unpopular opinion.

I'm not even sure you can't tell from the video that they even got the door open number one and number two it looked like he kicked the door fired off his little airsoft gun and they all ran. I'm betting that they were gone before the homeowner was even out of bed.

I don't see anything in that video that would justify the homeowner returning fire.

I'm saying that because he would have to get up, retrieve a gun, (presumably go downstairs), open the door, and actually see the little Thug what's running away before he started shooting.
