there are a fair number who do carry and will go all momma grizzly if their loved ones are threatened.

Count the Wonderful One among them. She's carried (lawfully) everywhere, every day for twelve +.

I am glad that you joined the ranks of concealed carriers, Bella. I also appreciate your involvement in the forum here. It is nice to get a woman’s opinion on our discussions, and your tolerance (and forgiveness!) when some threads go a little off-topic and get a little racy is much appreciated. Some of us tend to forget sometimes there are women on the forum too.

i'd say more than half of people taking the "intro to handguns" lessons at my range are middle age women. when i started going there back in 2020 it was the other way around, with more than half being middle age men. there is definitely a shift. still can't get my wife to go though.
