Finally got to shoot

Belt Fed

Didn't think my head could take a lot of recoil so i took the christensen arms 22 mag out for a spin, first set up at 50 yards to get it on paper. took a box of this armscorp crap to shoot it up. this is the junk that blew up on me in a semi auto pistol. i thought surely it won't in a bolt action. WRONG!. needless to say the rest of it got trashed. done this after 3 shots.

never had any trouble with a 22mag ever and it's had probably several 10's of thousands of rounds thru it as the ammo was either cci or rem rounds for the most part. the ammo i've shot and bought were cci's for p-dogs. don't remember the rifle brand (probably a winchester), but it's a semi-auto that shoots very well. i'd call armscor and inquire about possible lot issues.

Hey @Belt Fed!

What a nice day at the range! That is some really great shooting too. That's a fine looking rifle you have there. Bolt action is always good for a nice, relaxed pace. I shoot a little bit of .22 magnum, not much. My little cowboy gun has a .22WMR cylinder that I use once in a while. Armscor in general I try to avoid. The .22 Armscor I have doesn't work too well in most of my firearms of that caliber, just a couple.

Good to see you out in the fresh air and sunshine. I hope you're feeling better.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Great, now i’m looking at this (the carbine in 22wmr):😁

Henry's are nice rifles. just do it.

Here’s a few picks of my experience Saturday using Blazer ammo. 🙄… never again.
Same problem in two different S&W SD9’s, that in the past have always eaten ANYTHING I fed them.
Had to tap the bullets out of the chamber.
No damage to the guns. Swapped over to another brand on Sun afternoon and they ran perfectly.
