Always thought that the StageCoach was pretty cool and although my
ex-wife was into horses and I liked them I didn’t really see appeal of riding one.
Anyway the woodwork is incredible, definitely a rich history.
 
The city I live in started out as a stage coach stop on the road into Memphis back in the 1860s. My city owns a stage coach that they use for parades and such. I've seen it up close and its a marvel of skill and craftsmanship. A beautiful piece of history.
Now, 160 years later, Bartlett and Memphis have both grown to the point that they share a common boundary. :rolleyes:
 
Watch this video and you'll gain a real respect for the craftmanship that goes into building wagons of yesteryear. There are a whole series of videos that show how the Engels Coach Shop reproduced a Borax wagon. They are fascinating to watch.
