Fully supported chamber

Bushman

Alpha
Hello, I’m new to the forum but I’ve had a XDM10 for about 5 yrs now and I love this gun for woods defense and I got this for that reason the fully supported chamber and I’m glad I did now I’m looking to purchase a XDM Elite 3.8 Defender in 9mm and I was wondering if anyone knows if it has the fully supported chamber so I could shoot the 147 gr +p Hardcast without worrying about bulging casings in case I wanted to carry this one in the woods from time to time, Thanks

not sure if its related..
but my xd had a squib load ( my fault) and it left a bullet in the barrel, it sent new cartridge into battery and destroyed the 1st bullet and swelled the barrel at the end enough it got stuck and no more boom boom
soooo all the effort went fwd via the barrel
if there had been some non supported area of the chamber....who know what could have happened
it was a very violent event..
i am 100% to blame, but in my humble defense the dude in lane next to me was shooting a VERY loud cowboy action drills
and i missed the non normal sound of the 1st round, not that it matters, except that it was my momentary lack of focus than damaged my pistol

Well those came out of a Beretta APX full size only shot 15 of them when I noticed the bulging in the cases when I was picking them up didn’t want to shoot anymore. Not taking any chances. That’s where the bulging is coming from that gap above the feed ramp. Guys are saying the Canik TP9 Elite SC is fully supported but would much rather have the Springfield. Thanks for your help guys I’ll do some more research

My APX Tactical doesn’t bulge any cases, but I don’t shoot any +p in any of my guns, to me there harder on the gun, occasionally might be fine, but not a steady diet, but this is just me
