gloom, despair & agony on me

that's my feelings about what to buy.....................

i have 9mm, 357sig, 40s/w, 10mm, 44mag, 45acp & 50ae in various brands and aching for something new! the 7.5fk has me on edge regardless of not being able to reload as there's no dies available and possibly no bullets (listed as .307 and unsure if .308 would work as it might not chamber)? it's similar to the 357sig, but a 30cal and a tad bit longer case. with a 101gr bullet it'll produce 850# of muzzle energy 🥳 and factory ammo @ $1.52 per. kinda high for a pistol cartridge and also thought about the 4.6x30, but no bullets exist for reloading in an 18cal. maybe going big or just go home on a 500mag and call it a day.................................................

i mean, how many 9's or 45's coulda person have w/o having the same ole same ole! wwyd?

Hi,

Deep, dark depression. Excessive misery.

You know me as a "one of each" kind of guy. I've been toying with the idea of a 5.7x28. But I hear they are a pain to reload. I don't know if that may be a deal-killer for you. ;)

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff
i have the 5.7x28 already along with dies. getting the brass prepped w/o losing or disturbing the coating is the key not including the needing to be very accurate on powder charges for safety reasons. i think you can "wet" tumble w/o pins using simple green or maybe some other solution? i have about 10k rounds just in case already from back when cost per was about 28c. having a p90, fn57, s/w57, cmmg radial delayed upper and another upper that uses p90 mags can eat up lots of ammo. besides the 2 pistols, the cmmg operates the best in a carbine config.

480ruger could be on the buy list as it has 1 of the highest energy 475cals.

be like @xdman !
You need a Cannon

Go big or go home.
You can do your own “reloads” 😁

If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all..... Good morning @TEXASforLIFE and thank you for putting that song in my head ;) :ROFLMAO:

I think what I would do is buy ammo (or load - if you do) and shoot. Practice makes perfect!
But, hey, I get it. There’s nothing quite like that feeling when you get a new gun.
Myself, I analyze every new purchase thought that I have - do I really need this, is this gap in my arsenal already covered, etc. it can take me literally months to make up my mind anymore.

Don't despair be like @BET7 and get several of each. He knows how to handle decisions like those.
