Was a bit surprising to me too. Then, it sorta wasn't in some ways? Much of what's outwardly happening in current society seems to be a screen for other things at times from observation. Haven't read but a few reports of firearm thefts or losses in quite awhile. Most of what's been found or seen of most losses recently is older news.
