Hellcat Pro Apex trigger ?

Has anybody had one of these installed ? If so is it that much better than the original trigger ? I’m still fairly new to shooting and the original trigger feels ok i guess but i don’t have much experience to really know what a “ good “ trigger pull feels like if you know what i mean . Through YouTube research i hear the upgrade is worth it. But i know how YouTubers get sent stuff for free to pitch/sell products for a company/brand and will mostly always give a good review . Any feedback experiences with this “ Apex “ trigger would be greatly appreciated . Thanks in advance

Stick with the factory trigger for a while until you get comfortable shooting. The only thing you should really be focused on in this stage is your fundamentals (position, grip, breath control, sight alignment, trigger squeeze, and follow through) Practice, practice, practice! Work on your grouping. Shooting is not about the fancy stuff you can do to your gun. It's about being confident and skilled enough to put a bullet where it matters, when it matters. (and indeed to keep it in the gun at ALL other times) The rest is honestly just fluff. The Hellcat trigger may not be the best trigger in the world, but it's certainly FAR from the worst. It works. If this is going to be your carry/defense gun TRAIN with it. Don't get sucked in the Youtube gun world. You'll go broke! 90% of it is garbage you just don't need (and probably never will)

Just curious, since you said you're relatively new... Is this your first/only gun? If so, you may want to consider picking up a nice 22 to practice with. It'll be a lot cheaper for you to build the skills you need with a 22 first!

I bought the Hellcat Pro as my first gun back in January of this year to shoot as a hobby to keep busy.. i don’t carry it ( yet ) just to the range for practice and back home and in the safe . I liked shooting it and then i wanted to also get a full size gun so i purchased The Echelon 4.5F comp about 3 months later . I REALLY like that gun . Since purchasing both guns i took a local range self defense class to learn the basics of shooting/handling/cleaning different types of guns and safety .. for now i just want to own only those two guns and was just looking for upgrades i could do them for fun and experience

I have the Apex in both my Hellcat and Pro and yes it is an upgrade. It's not a monumental upgrade but a significant one. About half a pound lighter in pull weight, less take-up, less creep, shorter reset, and smoother over all. And it gets better with use. But it still is not as nice as the Echelon triggers. SA/HS Produkt would do great if they were to squeeze the Echelon's COG (FCU) into the Hellcats.
