I spent too much time searching Gunbroker last night for deals and found these. For anyone in Houston/Texas, there are two Houston Gun Collector Association Springfield 1911's w/consecutive serial numbers up on Gunbroker. Mid 90's, HGCA "1 of 400" roll marks, OEM cardboard boxes. As of this posting their bids top out at under $300 each, but there's more than a week left in the auctions.
Not sure about the rules for posting third party sales links here (even for Springfield stuff), but if you search HGCA on gunbroker there are only three hits returned, and only two are handguns. I've purchased from that seller before and been happy - YMMV.
