Holster Recommendation

New to CCW. Looking for a IWB holster for a Sig Sauer P365 XL Spectre Comp with red dot. I currently have a Alien Cloak Tuck for my Performance Center SW 380 EZ, witch I love, but I'm looking for something that is easier to take off and put on. I've found that the 4 o'clock position with a forward tilt seems to be working well for my 55 year old dad bod.

With so many options out there, I'm hoping to narrow the field down to two or three to try.

TIA for any advice!

Drew

Several quality companies come to mind. Sig themselves sell an array of holsters. Then there is LAS Concealment, Veddar, Alien Gear and Haven Defense are a few quality homsters. I have either direct experience or seen those perform well in classes and used bg several top name national instructors.

Just don’t go cheap not all holster makers are the same and myself I would recommend a metal clip over plastic/polymer clip!

Good luck

I use a Hunter brand soft touch iwb fo my Ronin lightweight. Pros very comfortable, metal clip, can be worn in most any position, conceals easily under shirt tail. Cons it's not a range use holster, once drawn you're not going to easily reholster without removing the holster. I've been using this type holster since 1979 and they hold up well.

Hi,

Yes, holsters are a journey, such a variety of good makers. I've tried only a few and found what works for me. That's about all I can recommend. I've always carried AIWB or 3 o'clock OWB. The Rounded Gear products work well for me. For the P365XL, something like this...

This particular model comes complete with the metal (DCC) clips and a "claw" to push the grip closer to your body, for better concealment. You might not need the "claw" if you're carrying at 4 o'clock.

It's a personal choice. Let's hope you don't go through too many before you find what works for you.

For grins and giggles, here's a review of several of the major makers' products...

and...

Thank you for your indulgence,
