Well that answered some questions! Thanks for the post! Most of the time when I first look in the scope I try too look further out than close especially in powered optics.

Great article, helps me understand my scope better. One thing not mentioned is once that is done does it hold? I always wondered if after I have a scope dialed in is there a chance of movement from transporting the rifle?

I’m not saying throwing the rifle around but let’s face it even in a padded case it gets bumped slightly and there’s is cleaning the rifle or is the mount secure?
Many questions not answered or discussed in the article.
I will say after selling one of my AR10’s without the scope I moved the two I have around to different AR’s so I get the joy of sighting them in again, shooting my guns, nothing wrong with that
