I recently purchased an Springfield xd-9 subcompact and when doing dryfire laser training the aim is true but when using live ammo its aim is way off.

Shoot it off a bench rest. That's the very first thing you should do with any gun. Remove the possibility of human error from the equation when sighting in or zero'ing a weapon. Then worry about why your groups are off.

Could be recoil anticipation most people don't realize they are doing this and believe the gun is off when it's just a natural reaction.

When you're dry firing the gun you're body knows there's no recoils and doesn't react to it so that could be why the laser training works but live fire doesn't.

Disclaimer:
My response is not meant in anyway to question your shooting skills I am just stating a possible cause for this type of issue.

That's where the Mantis X10 is a good tool to help breakdown good and bad techniques. Although the link below is Mantis X10-Elite with the Hellcat, It will work with most any firearm on the market. There are also several model lines of the Mantis depending on ones budget. I've been thinking of getting one at some point.
