So today’s humor. On a FB page about 1911’s the weight was put up as a con, and this guy chimes in why he carrys a super lightweight 357 mag…..me thinks he doesn’t really shoot a lot of 357 mags in that.

The second one Made a broad statement he didn’t trust the FBI FTU because well it’s the FBI but went on to say he’s just fine with his Gold Dot which was obviously created with input from the FTU….bless hia heart!

Ya can’t fix stupid. A lightweight .357 like a Smith PD is a dream to carry and a nightmare to shoot with real .357 loads-not a lot of “fun” with .38’s unless you’re somewhat of a masochist. A steel .45 is a soft shooter and it’s easy to drop a couple hundred rounds through one. A scandium .357? Not so much

And your loosing so much M/V without loosing blast. Your better off with plain Jane full wadcutter in the snubs not dependent on barrel
Length or velocity and you get 15” through a sternum.

He’s probably shoots 50,000 rounds a year too!
