Is the Saint Victor 308 able to handle 7.62 x 51 NATO?

Hi friends in the know,

So, I've been flirting with the idea of trying to get my hands on a Saint Victor 308 pistol, but have been unable to discern from the literature if it is chambered specifically in 308 (as in the name) or if it can handle the NATO counterpart 7.62x51 ammo a number of AR 10 styled rifles are chambered to accommodate.

Does anyone know for sure?

Can confirm. My Saint Victor .308 rifle does take 7.62x51 with no issues.
God bless you, shooting that round in an AR pistol lmfao.
I've gotten a little spoiled with my only 308/7.62x51 weapon being a Tavor 7, and since the bullpup is about the length of a pistol and the back heavy weightiness of it makes the recoil so light, it feels like shooting a 556 weapon.

The reason I was considering a 308 pistol was for compactness and because I don't need another heavy rifle.

To each their own. I'm not nearly as experienced with it, and while I love shooting my .308, It's loud, especially with the break it came with and I can't imagine having it closer to my face than it already is now haha.

Finding any of the Saint Victors in .308 has been difficult lately though. Good luck, and I will certainly keep my eyes peeled for you since we are in the same area. Will PM you if I get a bead on one.
