so, the wife and i had a envelope sized package to send to our family member......just "papers" and no, not cash.
i get a money order, as out of state checks can take up to 3 business days to cash.
so, there is a UPS Store a couple of blocks away from where i got the money order.
i walk inside and ask for help. the gal was most helpful
she gets an envelope. weighs the papers i am shipping, and says...
"the envelope is $2.00, and the cost to ship is.......
$32.00
i was like......
"Jesus H. F-ING Christ.............I ain't shipping this to Chiney"....
but what i really said was....
"wow, that's a lot"...and..."thank you for your time and help."
off to the post office, guy told me Priority mail...... $12.90
done deal............
i just wanted to "see" if UPS would have been cheaper......
