KUNA red dot issue/question...

Excuse my ignorance on the subject matter. I have red/green dots on my AR pistols, my Sig MPX, and even one on my Echelon pistol. They all installed easily and Zero'd easily.

But I'm having an issue with my Holosun red dot, an older one that was left over in my closet and can't figure out if user error or what.

I installed it and factory reset it for the new weapon. As you can see at 12 yards, (it was my indoor range which max's at 12 yards, was just trying to get it on paper before the longer outdoor range next week), It shot great and had a nice 3 shot group but low and left, and many adjustments later I maxed out the sight adjustment settings, and still couldn't get it zero'd dead center.

I'm wonder, how can I address or fix this? If I moved the sight more forward on the top rail would that give me more adjustment range, or move closer? Any ideas or sugguestions. I have a Holosun green dot on my Sig MPX zero'd perfectly thinking I might try that just to see if sight or gun issue.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, I do believe mounted correctly, and it adjusted in the right direction. I just came to the sights adjustment limits before it got to center.

And with the iron sights flipped up the front iron sight lines up with the bottom of the red dot device, meaning it's blocked. but the front sight is barely visible, low center of red dot sight.

Would moving the sight do anything?

Yes indeed it would. It seems to me you have the wrong riser like Hayes said. When you mount the optic you should be able to see your rear and front sights in the optic, near the middle of the optic.

The Sig Romeo 5, which I believe is the same optic as that one, used to come with a low and a high mount riser. You have the high mount. I probably have a low mount that would fit it. I can look and if I do you can have it.
