Hello all, here is today's article posted on TheArmoryLife.com. It is titled “Lights and Micro Pistols: Handheld or Weapon-Mounted?” and can be found at https://www.thearmorylife.com/lights-and-micro-pistols-handheld-or-weapon-mounted/.

Totally agree!not a fan of wmls. If one is not outside at night - less need for one and I'd rather have a real flashlight in that case. Micro pistols already are enough challenge if you have big hands, adding a light to a micro carry? nah.
You’re not the only odd person.I'll be the odd man out. I put lights on everything I can. They don't weigh enough to bother me. Their size has never hindered anything for me.
For me target identification is more important than getting a first shot off. Also, I appreciate the ability to have a free hand if needed, in a low light situation.

See, this is why I don't normally run wheel guns. I prefer DA/SA but it is to hard to hang a light on one of these. I mean I have one on my Judge (I have one, really like it, the holster maker said, "WTF? You want what?"). Otherwise they are all but non-existant.I have one weapon mounted light because my wife wanted it. Its Not exactly common one though i will admit.

I did select my only striker pistol the P365xl with the idea that if I wanted and needed an optic and lights it could be done easily.
