From its outset, the 6 mm Creedmoor has been promoted as a competition cartridge, but the 6 mm Creedmoor has the performance for use in hunting.

I've only been able to find the time to shoot a few rounds through my 6mm. From what I've read, it's able to really reach out there past 1000 yards.

I built one on a Howa 26" semi-heavy barreled action with HS Precision stock. Bedded the action then adjusted the factory trigger a little.

Legacy Sports had discontinued that exact rifle so I was lucky that Brownells had the former on close-out sale and I got the stock on sale from a place in CO.

I just swapped out the first scope with a Bushnell Nitro 6-24x50 that Midway just had on sale for 50% off.

Bore-sighted it, then took it to the range last week and got it dead-on at 200 yds for the winter. Will stretch it out on the 600 yd range next spring.

Shoots easy and like a laser-gun.
