While the SDS Arms iteration of the MEUSOC had the improved rear sight, the real MEUSOCs were parts guns with individual variations, with Novak rear sights often used.

This is my only "ground-up" 1911 build & my interpretation of the MEUSOC-type 1911 with various parts, sans the lanyard loop mainspring housing which wouldn't work anyhow with the installed mag well, although Smith and Alexander makes one with the loop.
