"By requiring smaller dealers to use Next Day Air service, the cost savings disappear. Add in the cost FFLs charge for transfers, and buying a gun from a smaller online retailer will become prohibitively expensive. This change will hurt all but the most prominent online retailers."

"UPS, which receives $252,016,057 in state/local and federal subsidies annually, is attacking an industry that helps Americans exercise the Constitutionally protected right to bear arms. This is not lost on Erich Pratt, Senior Vice President of Gun Owners of America." Maybe it is time for the 2nd Amendment friendly states like Florida to stop the state/local subsidies. There are more 2nd Amendment friendly states than non-friendly states. Time to hit these carriers where it hurts the most.

UPS does not care about helping Americans protect their constitutionally protected rights to bare arms. They only care about their bottom line.
I didn’t live in Louisville at the time but I’ve heard how UPS threatened Louisville/Kentucky to either spend millions on modern snow removal equipment for the airport or they would pull their hub because of one bad snow storm in 15 years. Of course the city and state caved in.
